What we do and how we do it

All aspects of the Manx Norton engine can be accommodated by R Lewis Engineering.
Many customers have existing Manx Norton engines that run, but are noisy, leak oil and have poor performance. This is often because the engine has been assembled by someone who is not aware of the detail knowledge and experience that these engines need to run correctly. These details are often considered unimportant but when they are added together can create significant differences to the life and performance of the Norton Manx engine.
These elements only come with 40 years knowledge on all types of engine!
This is a simple process. Call us up and arrange an initial free meeting with our Motorcycle engineer at our workshops. We will then dismantle the engine in front of you, and we will agree what needs to be done.
Each aspect of the problem areas will be discussed in detail with you and the various solutions explored.
With our Motorcycle Engineer you will agree a budget price and time scale. Within seven days we will provide a formal quotation.
If distance is a problem or you are based outside the UK, we can still discuss your requirements over the phone or by E Mail, so you discuss your needs with our engineer on your motorcycle requirements. You can then arrange to send the engine to us, and we will strip it and e mail you pictures of the problem areas. We can then agree what need to be done and supply a formal quotation.
